Analytics

When analytics is enabled, this site uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and PostHog EU Cloud to understand page visits, referral and campaign information, browser and device characteristics, approximate location, and interactions with the site. This helps me understand what is useful, improve content, and identify technical problems.

Analytics is not used to sell personal data or to make decisions about you. I do not intentionally send names, email addresses, payment details, or other sensitive information to analytics providers.

Cookies and your choices

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, non-essential analytics starts only after you chooseAccept all in the cookie banner. You can reject non-essential analytics or change a previous decision at any time through Cookie settings.

Outside those regions, analytics may start when you visit the site. You can still use Cookie settings to reject non-essential analytics for future visits.

Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. PostHog analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. These periods may be shortened when data is no longer needed for the purposes above.

Service providers

Google provides Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. PostHog EU Cloud processes PostHog analytics data. These providers process data under their own privacy and security terms and may use sub-processors or international transfers as described in their documentation.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent.
